Safety Film
We offer safety film that will help prevent problems such as breakage of the window, tagging the glass with a sharp object, and graffiti. The product that we use is Glass Gard AG. Instead of replacing your whole window we here at Extreme Autoworks reccommend putting a protective film over it so that you can save money. It is a clear, thick, polyester window film that is affixed to the exterior of window glass. It is an invisible shield that takes the abuse, helping to protect the window glass. Glass-Gard AG has also been successfully installed on stainless steel structures, such as telephone booths and bathroom stalls.
When graffiti artists and glass taggers strike, the glazing is left unscathed in most cases. The damaged film's specially designed mounting adhesive makes it easy to remove and replace with a fresh layer of protective film. In the event of glass breakage, Glass-Gard helps hold the glass shards in place, reducing the risk of personal injury, property loss and the hassle of glass clean-up.
